NILU

NILU (DK) is a Danish DJ, producer, and curator operating at the intersection of indie dance, melodic house, and forward-leaning club music. His sound is driven by atmosphere, tension, and emotional release, crafted for late-night rooms, sunrise moments, and long journeys on the dance floor.

With releases on Stil vor Talent, EXE Audio, Ritter Butzke Records, Zatar Music, and 3000 Grad, NILU has firmly positioned himself within the European underground, bridging melodic sensibility with raw club energy. His productions blend cinematic synths, hypnotic grooves, and subtle rave references, always prioritizing flow, movement, and feeling over formula.

As a DJ, NILU is known for dynamic, patient sets that evolve with the room. He has performed across Germany, Brazil, Mexico, the UK, and Scandinavia, with appearances at venues and festivals such as Green Valley, Sankeys Ibiza, Fusion Festival, Ritter Butzke, Sisyphos, Kater Blau, and showcases at ADE. Whether in intimate clubs or open-air settings, his sets are shaped by physicality, timing, and emotional awareness.

Beyond the booth, NILU is an active curator and scene builder. He is behind concepts including NILU & Friends and Love Rave, and more recently Parallel and Balearic Discoveries, exploring deeper, warmer, and more exploratory sides of electronic music. He is also involved in shaping programming and musical direction for venues and cultural spaces in Copenhagen and beyond.

With a background as a professional dancer and coach, NILU brings a unique understanding of movement and energy to his DJ sets, creating experiences that feel human, immersive, and shared.
